Practicing Real World Handgun Skills
Defensive pistol shooting as a sport is the use of practical equipment to solve simulated "real world" self-defense scenarios. Shooters competing in Defensive Pistol events are required to use practical handguns and holsters that are truly suitable for self defense use. No "competition only" equipment is permitted in Defensive Pistol matches since the main goal is to test the skill and ability of an individual, not his or her equipment or gamesmanship.
SaraSpa IDPA
IDPA Practice Sessions are held every Thursday from 7-10 PM. No reservations are necessary for these informal practices, however you must be certified by attending the New IDPA Shooter Course prior to participating.
SaraSpa organizes IDPA matches from time-to-time based on interest level.
